- 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and diced)
- 1 cup red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
- 1 medium jalapeño (seeded and minced)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional for sweetness)
- 4 large flour tortillas (cut into triangles)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and honey. Mix gently to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed. Set aside to let flavors meld.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar.
- Brush the melted butter on both sides of the tortilla triangles. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over both sides.
- Arrange the tortilla triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Serve the strawberry salsa in a bowl alongside the cinnamon chips for dipping.
