Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional for sweetness)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (cut into triangles)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and honey. Mix gently to combine.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed. Set aside to let flavors meld.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar.
  5. Brush the melted butter on both sides of the tortilla triangles. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over both sides.
  6. Arrange the tortilla triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool.
