Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground chicken
- 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ripe avocado (sliced)
- 4 burger buns (brioche or whole grain)
- ½ cup fresh salsa
- Leafy greens (lettuce or spinach)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken with chopped chipotle peppers, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Form the mixture into four equal patties, about 1 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with a splash of oil and cook each patty for about 5-6 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the buns until golden brown.
- Assemble your burgers by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the chicken patty, avocado slices, and salsa. Top with the upper bun.
- Serve immediately with sides like fries or salad.
