Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- to taste Salt
- to taste pepper
- as needed Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
- Pour the lemon butter sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve with remaining sauce drizzled over the chicken.
