Description

A flavorful lemon garlic chicken recipe, perfect for a quick dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper
  • as needed Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
  6. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Serve with remaining sauce drizzled over the chicken.
