- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 slider buns
- 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced into rings
- Dill pickles, sliced
- Ketchup and mustard, for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties, slightly larger than the size of the slider buns to allow for shrinkage during cooking.
- Preheat your grill or griddle over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side without pressing them down.
- Flip the patties and place a half slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness (internal temperature of 160°F for medium).
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the slider buns on the grill until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble each slider by placing a cheeseburger patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, a ring of red onion, and dill pickles.
- Drizzle ketchup and mustard as desired, then place the top half of the bun on each slider.
- Serve the sliders warm and enjoy!
