- 1 lb turnips, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Stir occasionally until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
- In a large bowl, toss the turnip pieces with the warm garlic oil, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Spread the seasoned turnips in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
